Kim is a licensed professional counselor, practicing as a school counselor for twenty years. She has been an experiential training consultant for fifteen. Kim has worked with both at-risk and high achievement elementary, high school and college students. Her clients include education and corporations. Kim is co-director of the Safe and Drug Free Schools program for a school district in Tennessee.
As an educational consultant Kim has facilitated team building and leadership development using several strength-based methodologies, for corporations including NASA, Booz Allen Hamilton, Ruby Tuesday, Baptist Hospital and Caritas Health Systems.
Kim has an M.S. in Counseling from the University of Tennessee and an Ed.S. in Educational Psychology from Tennessee Technological University. Her memberships include MEA/TEA/NEA, (local, state and national education associations), Association for Experiential Education and the National Association of Student Assistance Programs.
Kim is also a blue belt instructor for the Nia technique, a fusion fitness program.
